Prime Minister Kiril Petkov confirmed to journalists in the National Assembly that Dragomir Zakov is the new nominee for the position of Defence Minister.

The MPs are attending an extraordinary sitting of Parliament to vote on personnel changes in the Council of Ministers - the resignation of Defence Minister Stefan Yanev, and the election of a new minister.
