Bulgarian Youth and Sports Minister Radostin Vasilev held an official meeting with Kosovo's Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Hajrulla Ceku. The two discussed the possible signing of a memorandum of youth and sports cooperation during a Pristina visit by Vasilev. He pledged that Bulgaria will draft the document.

Ceku said that Kosovo is faced with institutional and strategic difficulties in sports. Bulgaria is successful in sports which Kosovo wants to develop and hopes to get support, he said.

The two officials talked about sports infrastructure in their countries and concurred that they are faced with serious challenges as regards sports facilities.

Vasilev stressed the importance of good cooperation in youth and sports between Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Ceku was accompanied by Kosovo Ambassador Delfin Pllana.
