Bulgaria men's volleyball team was eliminated from the 2022 FIVB Volleyball World Championship in Poland and Slovenia, suffering a third defeat in three matches in preliminary Pool C. On Tuesday, the Bulgarian team lost to Mexico 2-3 (25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 25-23, 16-18) after a missed match point in the fifth set. The game took place in Katowice, Poland.

Diego Gonzalez had a game-high 33 points for Mexico. Tsvetan Sokolov scored 24 to lead Bulgaria.

In its previous two games, Bulgaria lost 0-3 to USA (20-25, 23-25, 24-26) and 0-3 to home side and defending world champion Poland (12-25, 20-25, 20-25).
