site.btaCouncil of Ministers Approves Changes to Medical Devices Act 

The Council of Ministers approved a bill with amendments and supplements to the Medical Devices Act. The proposed amendments give powers to the Minister of Health to place on the market and/or put into operation devices without a conformity assessment, only in the interest of public health or the safety and health of patients.
