site.btaGreek President Sakellaropoulou Starts Visit in Bulgaria
President Rumen Radev welcomed the visiting Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou in Sofia with an official ceremony Thursday morning. The guest is visiting at President Radev's invitation.
The welcome ceremony will be followed by one-on-one talks and then a plenary meeting of the two delegations.
Deepening the strategic partnership in various fields such as economy, energy, culture and tourism are expected to be at the centre of talks, as well as the cooperation between Bulgaria and Greece in the EU and the South-East Europe region.
The Bulgarian President will confer the Order of the Balkan Range with a ribbon to President Sakellaropoulou for her services to the development of bilateral relations.
After the ceremony, Radev and Sakellaropoulou will make joint statements to the press.
Sakellaropoulou is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Galab Donev and National Assembly Chair Vezhdi Rashidov.
