President Rumen Radev arrived on working visit to Istanbul on Friday at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two presidents are expected to discuss a number of issues, including cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, migration and security, as well as transport connectivity between the two countries.

On the Bulgarian delegation are the Ministers of Energy and Defence, Rossen Hristov and Dimitar Stoyanov.

The two heads of State are expected to hold talks in the Vahdettin Palace. Talks between the Bulgarian and Turkish delegations are also planned.
