site.btaBTA Press Club in Bosilegrad, Serbia, Marks 7th Anniversary
The BTA press club in Bosilevgrad, Serbia, will celebrate the 7th anniversary of its establishment on December 14. Among the guests at a commemorative news conference will be boxing Olympic medalist Tervel Pulev, actress Elena Karaboycheva and director-producer Atanas Mihaylov as representatives of the campaign titled "Successful Bulgarians Set Personal Example". MEP Peter Vitanov and former Parliament leader Dimitar Glavchev have confirmed their participation.
The winner of the second annual Maxim Minchev Award for contribution to the development of civil society and democratic values will be announced during the event.
The award was instituted in October 2021 by the Managing Board of the GLAS Association of Bossilegrad to commemorate former BTA Director Maxim Minchev and his work.
A celebration later the same day will announce the results of the 10th fundraiser which will support various humanitarian and youth initiatives in Bosilevgrad region in 2023.
Attending will be BTA representatives, officials of the Bulgarian Consulate in Serbia, friends and partners of GLAS Association from Bulgaria and Serbia.
On December 11, 2015, BTA opened its first press club outside Bulgaria: in Bosilengrad, Serbia. A second press club was opened several years later in Taraclia, Moldova, and a third one in early 2022 in Skopje in the Republic of North Macedonia.
