site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 92 New Cases, 3.5% Test Positivity Rate

There were 92 new coronavirus cases in Bulgaria on Saturday after 2,630 tests, according to data published on the national platform coronavirus.bg on Sunday. The test positivity rate is 3.5%.

There were 83,645 active cases, out of the 1,163,317 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Three fatalities were reported (two of them unvaccinated), and the death toll now adds up to 37,090.

A total of 17 people, 82.35% of them unvaccinated, were admitted to hospital and the total number of COVID hospitalizations now stands at 514. Some 47 of the patients were hospitalized in intensive care wards.

A total of 274 people recovered in the past day, bringing the total up to 1,042,582.

The new vaccinations total 64, adding up to 4,395,117 vaccinations.
