site.btaBulgarian Stock Exchange Reports Drop in Turnover in August, Doubling in January-August Y/Y

The total turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) in August amounted to BGN 55.50 million, which is a decrease by 16% compared to July 2022. The turnover grew by over 108% in January-August compared to the like period of 2021, reaching BGN 636 million, the BSE reported in their monthly bulletin. 

In August, the number of deals on the BSE reached 8,581, up by 15.4% compared to July 2022. In January-August, the number of deals went up by nearly 50% year-on-year.
