site.btaEurostat: 9% of Unemployed Bulgarians Find Job in First Quarter of 2022

A total of 9.2% of the unemployed Bulgarians (some 13,000 people) found a job between the first and second quarter of 2022, according to data from the European statistics agency Eurostat, published on Tuesday. During this period, some 120,000 people (81.8%) of the unemployed citizens remained unemployed and another 13,000 became economically inactive.

According to Eurostat’s latest data, between the first and second quarter of 2022, 3.3 million unemployed people in the EU (25% of all unemployed in the first quarter of 2022) found a job. During this period, 6.9 million (51.4%) remained unemployed and 3.2 million unemployed people (23.6%) became economically inactive.
