Paper ballots and the demo version of the electronic ballot to be used in the October 2 snap parliamentary elections were demonstated during a briefing of the Central Election Commission (CEC) on Thursday. The ballots for Bulgarians abroad will lack a preferential vote option, said Rositsa Mateva from the CEC.
There will be no contestant no. 21, as the party failed to register its candidate lists. Contestant no. 4 will be missing from Montana's Multi-member Constituency No. 12 and Sliven's Multi-member Constituency No. 21 because the party did not register candidate lists there. Contestant no. 23 will be missing from the ballot for Blagoevgrad's Multi-member Constituency No. 1, Mateva said.
Sofia's 25th and Varna's 3rd Multi-member Constituencies will also contain a 30th contestant for the independent candidates running.
