Out-of-country voting in the Bulgarian early parliamentary elections on October 2 has been cleared in all but one country where the Foreign Ministry had applied for permission. The only exception is Canada, but there is no reason to worry, because it is in the habit of the Canadian authorities to grant permission at the last minute, Ivan Kondov, head of the Foreign Ministry's Elections Working Group, told a news briefing on Wednesday.
Kondov confirmed earlier information that there will be 755 voting sections abroad. Their addresses can be checked on the Foreign Ministry's website: mfa.bg. As usual, Turkey will be home to the largest number of out-of-country voting sections, at 166, followed by the United Kingdom (126), Germany (77), Greece (72), Spain (65) and the United States (55).
