Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) delegates will monitor the Bulgarian parliamentary snap elections on October 2, the Council of Europe said on Tuesday. The mission, comprised of 21 delegates and led by Alfred Heer (Switzerland, ALDE), will be in Bulgaria between September 30 and October 3.

The elections will also be monitored by observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The PACE envoys will meet with representatives of political parties and coalitions, the Central Election Commission, NGOs and the media, as well as with their colleagues from the OSCE.
