site.btaInterior Ministry: No Serious Public Order Violations on Election Day 

The Interior Ministry here said on Sunday that no serious public order violations were reported as of 3:00 pm on election day. 

The police have received a total of 621 reports about violations of election legislation and citizens' political rights as of 3:00 pm on Sunday, 69 of which were submitted on the election day itself. A total of 71 pre-trial proceedings have been initiated and a total of 77 people have been arrested across the country for crimes related to the voting process. A total of 1982 written warnings have been issued.
