Central Election Commission Spokesman Tsvetozar Tomov told journalists that voter turnout as of 4:00 pm on Sunday was 25.58%, which means that a total of 1,688,944 people have exercised their right to vote. This is around 9,000 people less compared to the same time during the last general elections in November of 2021, he explained.

The lowest voter turnout was reported in Kurdzhali (South Bulgaria), Tomov said.
