site.btaLeague of Bulgarian Writers in United States and World Launches International Competition for Poetic Works in Bulgarian Language

The League of Bulgarian Writers in the United States and the World announces an international literary competition for a book of poems, the Chairperson of the Confederation of Bulgarian Cultural Organizations and Figures Abroad, Lyudmila Kaloyanova, told BTA. 

The works entered in the competition are to be in the  Bulgarian language and to have been published in 2022 or 2021. A jury will consider the entries and announce the results at the beginning of 2023. 

The purpose of the competition is to promote the work of Bulgarian authors abroad. 

The organizers of the competition said that more information on deadlines and how to submit entries will be provided soon.
