The second direct flight from Bulgaria to the Seychelles landed on Saturday, with 180 passengers on board. Direct flights are enjoying growing interest from Bulgarians, and the Seychelles has become one of the most popular warm and sunny holiday destinations in Bulgaria and Europe. A third charter flight is planned this year, said the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Seychelles in Sofia.

The passengers of the second flight were welcomed at the international airport in the capital Victoria, while on departure at the capital airport, they were greeted by Honorary Consul of Seychelles in Bulgaria Maxim Behar and received an official invitation to join the club "Friends of Seychelles in Bulgaria" and special gifts - UV bracelets with sun protection indicators.

The first of the direct flights from Sofia to the largest island in the Seychelles, Mahe, took off in January this year. They are implemented by Bulgaria Air, with the active support of the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria.
