site.btaFour Bulgarian Films Selected for International Film Festival in Brazil

Four Bulgarian films entered the selection of the international Clapperboard Golden Festival in Brazil, the director of the films, Efemia Fard, told BTA here on Thursday.

Fard’s short pictures were selected among 1,949 other films from all over the world and will be shown in the city of Sao Paulo, she said.

The titles are “Controlled breaths of air” (short documentary on domestic violence), “Smeshniyat syd” (a sarcastic tale of a sinner facing The Judgement Day), and two versions of “The Pygmalion Defect”, a dance drama and an animation.
