site.btaCyrillic Alphabet Monument To Be Built in Los Angeles

A monument to the Cyrillic alphabet will be built in Los Angeles, California. It became clear after a meeting of the Consul-General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Los Angeles, Boyko Hristov, with fellow Bulgarians. 

During the talks it was decided to establish a non-governmental organization that will unite Bulgarians from all states of the consular district for the implementation of important projects in the field of culture, education and strengthening economic ties between Bulgaria and the consular states.

Among the first projects to be implemented in cooperation with the Consulate General are the establishment of annual awards for contributions in the field of culture, education and science and a festival of Bulgarian cinema in Los Angeles.
