Bulgaria's first ever performance of Mozart's Concerto for Violin, Piano and Orchestra will take place here on Sunday evening as part of the March Music Days, said the festival's Director Iva Chavdarova.
The unfinished masterpiece will be played by the National Symphony Orchestra of Romania, conducted by Cristian Mandeal, with Bulgarian violonist Mintcho Mintchev and pianist Ludmil Angelov as soloists.
The two said they are exploring opportunities to perform this work elsewhere in the country as well.
The other items on the programme of Sunday's concert are Mozart's "The Abduction from the Seraglio" Overture and Beethoven's 7th Symphony.
