French dancer and climber Antoine Le Menestrel will perform a show entitled The Lover (L'Amant) on the building façades surrounding Slaveykov Square in central Sofia on March 30. The event will feature Bulgarian opera singer Vera Nikolova and actor Boyan Mladenov, said the French Institute in Sofia.

The story of The Lover sees a French Romeo looking for love in this country. In his desperation, he is willing to climb over any obstacle or wall. His search will begin with a breathtaking plunge, followed by exploring the façade of the French Institute and other landmark buildings in the square. The character will not give up searching, until he hears an unfamiliar voice, a melody that he will never be able to forget.

Antoine Le Menestrel was born on April 13, 1965. His passion for sports grew into a passion for the arts. He has performed in France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and the United States.
