site.btaIllustration and Graphics Festival Opens With Group Exhibition

On April 12, the Festival for Illustration and Graphics (FIG) will open with a group exhibition titled "My Head is a Photo Dump", presenting artworks by 18 artists, the organizers from KO-OP Gallery said on Friday. The experimental format will present the work as an intuitive and open analysis of the intersections of a group of people at a particular moment, looking at how information travels through the different media that surround us and is refracted through personal experiences and interpretations.

The inaugural group exhibition will transform the KO-OP space into an impromptu "photodump" with works generated or inspired by shared images from a common "chatroom" that has become a temporary shared studio for the artists. 

FIG's April programme includes a workshop on scientific illustration with Luben Domozetski, live tattooing with Aleksandra Georgieva, a series of talks and lectures with ABVA, Chaos Group, Compote Collective and a number of events for thоse who fancy the different types of visual art.
