site.btaBulgaria's Holy Synod Will Not Bring Holy Fire from Jerusalem This Year

The Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church said Wednesday that, "due to adverse circumstances", it has decided to abstain from a trip on Holy Saturday to transfer the Holy Fire from the Holy City of Jerusalem.
 
The Holy Fire, taken from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher last year and kept burning, will be accessible after 2:00 pm on Holy Saturday (April 23) at the Saint Tsar Boris Michael Synodal Chapel, the Bulgarian Patriarchate informed.
