Bulgarian music will be played on May 17 at the Wiener Musikverein, commonly shortened to Musikverein, a famed concert hall in Vienna, Austria, the Sofia Philharmonic said.

The programme will include the grotesque suite "Bai Ganyo" by Vesselin Stoyanov, Slavonic Dances No.2 and No.8 by Dvorak and the Fifth Symphony by Tchaikovsky.

Sofia Philharmonic's visit was supposed to take place in December, but was postponed due to the lockdown in Austria.

The visit to Musikverein is a result of the extremely successful concert of the Philharmonic in December 2019 and is the third in the history of the national orchestra, added the Sofia Philharmonic. This time the event is under the patronage of President Rumen Radev.
