site.btaEva Quartet to Visit Geneva for First Time

A concert by the Eva Quartet will take place on 10 May at 7.30 pm local time in Geneva at the Temple de la Madeleine,  at the invitation of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church Society Nativity of the Mother of God, Lyudmila Martaler, who hosts and produces the show Bulgarian Hour on radio Bern, told BTA. The repertoire will include Bulgarian classical and religious songs.

The quartet was founded in 1996 by the four soloists of the world-famous choir Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices- Daniela, Evelina, Sofia and Gergana. They perform specially written and processed Bulgarian folk songs, as well as authentic ones. They are also have a special interest in religious Orthodox music.

The Eva Quartet has participated in many world and Bulgarian music festivals. They have visited Morges in the French part of Switzerland, but this will be their first visit to Geneva .
