site.btaSofia University Ranks in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022 for Second Consecutive Year

Sofia University (SU) St. Kliment Ohridski keeps the 601-800 position among 1,406 universities around the world in the Impact Ranking 2022 of the Times Higher Education, the university reported on its website on Wednesday. 

In the World University Rankings for 2022, SU ranks 1201+ out of 2,112 universities. In the World Ranking of Universities, SU is evaluated in six professional fields - Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Computer Sciences.

Impact Rankings 2022 assesses the universities' achievements in meeting the UN's global goals of sustainable development. SU ranks in 10 out of 17 UN goals: Life Below Water (position 201-300), Sustainable Cities and Communities (201-300), Life On Land (301-400), Climate Action (301-400), Partnership for the goals (401-600), Decent Work and Economic Growth (401-600), Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (401-600), and Emerging Economies (501+). 

The ranking's methodology uses carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparison across four broad areas: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.
