site.btaEthnology Institute Organizes Discussions on Heritage Submerged by Dams

The first discussion on November 15 will be dedicated to the dams along the Arda river: Studen Kladenets, Kurdjali, and Ivaylovgrad and the nearby Borovitsa dam. Submerged by these dams are over 20 villages and neighbourhoods, and visitors can see by their banks churches, graveyards, remains of mosques, and workers’ settlements.
