Russana Bardarska won the Elizabeth Kostova Foundation's 2022 contest for publication of a contemporary Bulgarian novel in English in the USA, held in association with the American publishing house, Open Letter Books, the Foundation said Monday. Bardarska won the award for her novel To Essay (Zhanet 45, 2020).
