The results of the 2021 EU Gender-Based Violence Survey, in which the National Statistical Institute (NSI) took part, show that 11.9% of women aged 18-74 have experienced at least one incident of physical or sexual assault at some point in their adult lives, regardless of the perpetrator's relationship to them.
