site.btaTheatre Company Presents Project Live Theatre and New Media

A studio theatre company called 4XC Wednesday presented their project Live Theatre and New Media in BTA. The actors said that the coronavirus pandemic shut people in their homes, after which  people began to shut themselves out. However, they soon came to perceive the pressing need of the other and others and began looking for them. However, the familiar channels were no longer working so that the actors in the company started to search for new ways to meet. 

Exactly such a meeting is their new online show Live Theatre which has two presenters, 12 broadcasts in Bulgarian and five in English, 17 performances, and live Q&A sessions with spectators which is streamed in real time. 

Forthcoming in 2023 are the broadcasts based on world and Bulgarian classics, and five broadcasts from the playbill of the Alter Ego 2023 international theatre forum. 

"In the current times of symbiosis and hybrid events we need to find a formula to continue to air our digitalized performances and at the same time to foster the live link with the spectators in the hall. The project demonstrated exactly this symbiosis," head of 4XC Petya Yossifova-Hunkins said. 

4XC actor and director Georgi Arsov said that the young people today are glued to their phones and thanks to the performances of the company they can have a different point of view regarding classic Bulgarian writers.
