site.btaGovernment Allocates Nearly BGN 2 Mln for Modernization of Library at University of National and World Economy

The Government allocated BGN 1,940,000 to the University of National and World Economy for the modernization of the university library. The funds will be used to build a state-of-the-art information and knowledge centre, providing modern services for all students and faculty.

The university library will become a base for the development of research activities through rich library collections, providing remote access to global scientific information databases. It will also be a place for modern communication and development of scientific activity between faculty and staff through small, medium and large group work. 

The government has allocated BGN 1,991,433 in the 2022 municipal budgets to provide for activities under four national programmes for the development of education.
