Students from the Exnarova music school in Bratislava performed a Christmas Pastoral concert at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in the capital of Slovakia. Once again it was held within the framework of the project "Studio of Young Talents".
The director of the institute, Vanya Radeva, told the audience about the programme within the anniversary of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Bratislava, about the guest appearances of Bulgarian musicians such as musician Teodosii Spasov, composer Konstantin Ilievski, a number of pianists and violinists, classical, jazz, pop and folk performers, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute said in a post on the social networks.
The programme of this year's concert included works by Bulgarian composer Parashkev Hadjiev, along with classical pieces by Mozart, Gluck, Handel, Vivaldi and Chopin.
The Studio of Young Talents studio was established by the Bulgarian Cultural Institute together with the managements of various music schools in early 2011. Its aim is for students to learn more about Bulgarian music and to perform works by Bulgarian composers.
