The Bulgarian St. Cyril and St. Methodius school in The Hague has opened three new classes and appointed two new teachers in 2022, the school said on Facebook this week. The total number of classes now adds up to 14.
The school’s teachers have summarized the past year, noting that their number of students is now 159, 112 of whom have started school in 2022.
The school also runs a summary of the main events of 2022, such as virtual Bulgarian museum visits – the museum of education in the central city of Gabrovo, the regional archaeological museum in the southern city of Plovdiv and the regional museum of history in Ruse (on the Danube). Among the guests who visited the school were Bulgarian journalists Mirolyuba Benatova and Iskra Angelova.
The Bulgarian school also lists the awards received by its students over the past year, which include such for arts, literature, singing, among others. The school recalls the charity Christmas market held to help a sick child and thanks all parents who volunteered and those who helped.
