A Bulgarian show took first place in the pilot edition of an international light art competition in the 30-million-strong city of Chongqing, China, the creators of the project from MP-studio said on Monday.

The work is called Metamorph and was designed on a facade of one of the city's main landmarks, the Huangjueping graffiti art street. The show was among forty finalists in the competition, selected from around the world to be shown to live audiences.

Orlin Pavlov is in the leading role.

There were over 30 artists on the jury, and the other winners were from China (silver award) and Germany and Spain (bronze award).

The performance was inspired by Franz Kafka's novella Metamorphosis.

The show's duration is 3.5 minutes and it consists of 11 scenes.
