An exhibition by Prof. Ludmil Chehlarov entitled "The Poster" will be unveiled at the Elena Karamihaylova Art Gallery in Shumen, Northeastern Bulgaria, on January 17, said the organizers. The event is part of the Dobrich Art Gallery travelling exhibition "The Posters Tell a Story - Ludmil Chehlarov's Catalogue", which is funded by the National Culture Fund and the Ministry of Culture.

The exhibition will visit Silistra, on the Danube, and Varna, on the Black Sea, in February, and Burgas, on the Black Sea, in March.

Chehlarov was born in 1938. After completing his Poster degree at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, he started working as a poster artist at the State Theater of Satire. He is a winner of the UNESCO Prize for a theatre poster, and of the Union of Bulgarian Artists Special Prize for achievements in the field graphic design. His works have been on display across the world.
