The 30th edition of the Grand Horo (a type of chain dance) of Brussels organized by the local Bulgarian Club will take place in the Belgian capital on Saturday. The event, which was established a decade ago, will take place at the Woluwe-Saint-Pierre Municipality cultural centre.

The last Grand Horo took place in 2019, before the COVID pandemic, Maria Tsvetkova from the organizing team told BTA.

Before the start of this year's horo, a dance performance will take place, showing off the diversity of Bulgarian folklore regions and customs.

Tsvetkova shared that every year the organizers invite one special guest, which this year is ensemble Zora from Paris. The goal is to give platform to young talented musicians, dancers and artists.

She said that more than 250 people are expected to participate in the forum. The event is open to all song and dance enthusiasts, no matter their level of proficiency or country of origin.

A food stand with traditional Bulgarian will also be located in the hall.
