Bulgarian painters and photographers abroad presented their works within the Life Is a Play photo exhibition at the Bulgarica Cultural Centre in Mount Prospect, Chicago. The exhibition was unveiled at the Bagrena Gallery on January 14.

Among the participants were Kiril Manasiev, Vassilen Vasevski, Evgenia Petrova, Plamen Petrov, Konstantin Kosta, and Elena Kosta from Chicago, as well as Yordan Ivanov from Louisiana.

The artists presented their expressive perception of composition and form, movement and stillness, colour and silence, philosophy and contemplation through photographic exposition, the Bulgaria SEGA website reported.

Vassilen Vasevski, organizer of the exhibition and one of the leaders of the group of Bulgarian artists, said the group's mission is to spread Bulgarian culture across the world and unite Bulgarian artists abroad.
