site.bta Up to 190 Cm of Snow in Pamporovo, Ski Season to Continue Until April

After recent abundant snow fall, the snow cover at Snezhanka peak in the Pamporovo ski resort (Southern Bulgaria) is 190 centimeters, making skiing conditions excellent, the Pamporovo tourist centre reported here on Friday. A few days before the start of astronomic spring, a total of 16 ski runs and 12 ski lifts are operational in Pamporovo and there is enough snow for the ski season to continue until April.

In March, Perelik and Orlovetz hotels offer a 30 per cent discount on online bookings. In Orlovetz, there is also a 40 per cent discount for weekdays, if booked online.

The ski season in Pamporovo will continue until at least April 10, says the local tourist industry.
