Draft rules of organization of the Tourism Ministry have been published for public discussion. Tourism Minister Hristo Prodanov, who proposed the document, said the Ministry's structure should be altered and its administrative capacity enhanced to reflect the global change in the tourism market and the industry's management.

The proposed changes emphasize the role of digital marketing, analysis and targeting of new potential markets of Bulgaria's tourism product. The document also tightens control on the award of concessions and lease of Black Sea beaches.
