The first cruise ship on the Danube for the season docked on Monday at the port of Vidin. More than 100 American tourists were traveling on the luxury ship Viking Lif, funded by the Bulgarian travel agency Balkan Tours. Traditionally, the tourist season on the Danube begins in mid-March and lasts until the end of November, Belogradchik Deputy Mayor Rosen Mladenov told BTA.
