site.btaSolid Fuel Production Up by 99.3% in January

In January 2022, year-on-year, an increase was reported for the production of solid fuel by 99.3 per cent), unleaded motor gasoline by 73.8 per cent, transport diesel by 52.7 per cent, and electricity by 24.4 per cent, show data of the National Statistical Institute here on Friday. A decrease was reported for the production of propane/butane mixtures by 33.3 per cent and natural gas by 50 per cent.

In January 2022 compared to a month earlier, an increase was reported for the production of solid fuels by 11.5 per cent to 3,613,000 tonnes, and electricity by 3.1 per cent to 5,168 GWh. Production of petroleum products was restored to its usual levels after the completion of planned repair works of production installations during the previous months: propane/butane mixtures (4,000 tonnes), unleaded motor gasoline (146,000 tonnes), and transport diesel (258,000 tonnes). Production of natural gas remained unchanged.

In January 2022, month-on-month, supplies grew as follows: solid fuel by 10.2 per cent to 3,665,000 tonnes, unleaded motor gasoline by 57.7 per cent to 41,000 tonnes, natural gas by 5.2 per cent to 387 million cubic metres, electricity by 5.5 per cent to 3,570 GWh. Supplies of propane/butane mixtures dropped by 15.8 per cent to 32,000 tonnes. Supplies of transport diesel shrank by 13.9 per cent to 180,000 tonnes.

In January 2022 compared to a year earlier, supplies grew as follows: solid fuel by 91.5 per cent, propane/butane mixtures by 10.3 per cent, unleaded motor gasoline by 13.9 per cent, transport diesel by 25 per cent, natural gas by 1.6 per cent, and electricity by 4.1 per cent.
