site.btaBulgarian Finance Minister Vassilev Speaks at Ambrosetti Forum

Bulgarian Finance Minister Assen Vassilev is one of speakers at the Ambrosetti Forum organized by The European House - Ambrosetti in Cernobbio, Italy, on April 1 and 2, the Finance Ministry said. Vassilev is the first Bulgarian politician to be invited at the forum. 

Speaking at a panel of the event, Vassilev presented Bulgaria's vision about the EU. 

In his speech, Vassilev stressed the need to change the EU institutions into such which will allow people to remain and pursue their goals in their own country and in Europe. Vassilev said that there are common challenges which require a strong and united EU. The EU should not only manage crises but have shared goals and mechanisms to achieve them so that they yield tangible results in the lives of the European citizens. 

The 33rd edition of the annual international economic and financial forum is dedicated to the economic and financial scenarios in the post-COVID recovery period and during the war.

The Ambrosetti Forum is a prestigious international event that each year brings together heads of state, ministers, representatives from leading political, economic and financial institution, and experts from around the world.
