site.btaPublic Gas Supplier Bulgargaz Forecasts 4% Increase of Nat Gas Price in June

The forecasted price of natural gas in June is 148.63 leva/MWh or 75.99 euro/MWh, public gas supplier Bulgargaz said Monday. It is 4.06% more than the current price.

The price is exclusive of the cost for access, transmission, excise duty and VAT.

The regulator-approved price of natural gas as of April 1 is 142.59 leva/MWh.

The June price forecast is based on the pricing components as of April 11. The April 1 price of gas for delivery in June on the European gas markets was 103.50 euro/MWh, said Bulgargaz.

The supplier's final proposal for the June price will be submitted to the regulator on June 1 and will be based on the pricing components as of May 31.

On May 11, Bulgargaz said that its May gas price forecast is 157.73 leva/MWh, which was a 9.6% increase from the February price.
