site.btaAll Vessels Registered under Russian Flag Banned from Bulgarian Sea and River Ports

All vessels registered under Russian flag, as well as all vessels that have switched their Russian flag or maritime register registration to any other state whatsoever after Ferbuary 24, 2022, are forbidden access to Bulgarian maritime and river ports, an order of the Bulgarian Maritime Administration says. The order comes into effect as of Saturday, April 16.

The ban shall not apply to any vessel in distress, one seeking a haven, or in respect to emergency stopping at port for reasons related to naval safety, or for saving a human life at sea.

The order to the harbor masters is published in the Maritime Administration website.
