site.btaInnovation and Growth Minister Awards Four Certificates for Investments Worth BGN 30.5 Mln

Innovation and Growth Minister Daniel Lorer said on Thursday that his Ministry has awarded four certificates for investments worth a total of 30.5 million leva and creating more than 170 jobs. The certificates are issued under the Investment Promotion Act.

A project by Rollplast Ltd received a Class A certificate for the expansion of its production base in Kostinbrod (near Sofia) under a project that is worth 18.2 million leva and will create 30 jobs. 

Mareli Systems was awarded a Class A certificate for the expansion of its factory for stoves and burners. The project is worth 5,059,000 leva and can provide employment to 115 people. 

A Class B certificate was awarded to Smart Organic for its project for a production and storage base for organic food in the Sofia suburb of Bozhourishte. The project is worth 5 millin leva and will create 15 jobs. 

Cheese maker Shipka 99 was awarded a Class B certificate for investments in the packaging of its products. The company is based in Parvomai, Central Bulgaria. Its certificate-winning project is worth 2,172,000 leva and it will open 10 new jobs. 

According to central bank estimates, investments in Bulgaria have doubled in the first two months of 2022, Lorer said.
