site.btaeBay Offers Online Training to Bulgarian Auto Traders
The e-commerce platform eBay is launching eBay Academy: a training course aiming to develop Bulgarian small and medium-size enterprises that sell automotive parts and accessories, eBay’s Sofia division reported on Tuesday. The course and its programme eBay Growth were designed to help popularize Bulgarian auto traders among the 150 million buyers from 190 countries who use eBay for their purchases.
The training course, split into five separate online sessions, was designed specifically for auto traders operating in this country. The lecturer Stefan Tashev owns Taros Trade: a reseller of large auto parts since 2007. The learning agenda will include the best practices when using eBay: from creating an account and uploading the merchandise to the website to utilizing the available online tools to attract customers.
The Auto Parts and Accessories category in eBay is one of the most highly developed. Over the last year it has grown by nearly 30% in the global emerging markets. This is due to the global shortage of semiconductors raising the prices of cars. In 2022, the average price of a new car increased by 12%, and the average price of a second-hand car increased by more than 40%.
Over the last year, Bulgarian auto traders have seen a 13% increase in sales, selling some 65,000 items via eBay.
