A new management team takes over Bulgarian Posts AD, said the government press office Wednesday. The replacement of the management was announced a day earlier by Good Governance Deputy Prime Minister Kalina Konstantinova, who said that her decision was prompted by poor financial performance, rising losses, poor management decisions and mishandling of a crisis caused by the hacking of the Bulgarian Posts information system.
The new executive director is Bogdan Teofanidis, who has more than ten years of experience in large international companies on positions in the area of digitization, finances and building management systems.
The new Chair of the Board of Directors is Luchezar Arsov, a specialist in information security with a Master's degree in telecommunications.
Nadezhda Alexieva is Deputy Chair. She is a lawyer with extensive experience in state-owned companies, including Bulgarian Posts and Sofia Airport.
Viktor Fachev and Viktor Karadjov are also Board members. Fachev has been in the human resources department of SiteGround, a Bulgarian IT company which is a leader in its niche on the international market. Karadjov has headed a unit of Palfinger AG, an international technological and mechanical engineering company.
