site.btaEnergy Regulator Postpones Meeting to Approve NatGas Price for May

A closed meeting of  the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission in Tuesday that was expected to approve the price of natural gas for May has been postponed, the regulator said.

On Tuesday morning gas supplier Bulgargaz informed the Commission that the Energy Ministry has launched a probe into how the price of natural gas for May had been set. The probe will be completed by May 12.

The energy regulator is expecting to receive the final price proposal by Bulgargaz on May 13 and will schedule a meeting immediately after that to approve the price of natural gas.
