site.btaBulgaria Participates for First Time in Nordic Region's Largest eHealth Event

A Bulgarian business delegation is participating in Vitalis, the Nordic region's largest international exhibition in Gothenburg, Sweden, United Partners said on Wednesday. This is the largest eHealth event in Scandinavia, which brings together companies and researchers working strategically or operatively on business development and eHealth issues within healthcare and welfare. More than 60,000 visitors from around the world participate in Vitalis ever year, sharing goals for improving knowledge and tomorrow's health care.

The event is held on May 17-19.

This is the first time the event has featured a Bulgarian pavilion. Two years ago, Stefan Bengtsson, President of the Swedish Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, suggested that Bulgaria should participate. Five Bulgarian organizations and companies expressed support: Motion Software, United Partners Group, BGO Software, Invest Stara Zagora and Bulbera.

Bengtsson called the event an excellent bridge between the two countries. The participants are presenting innovations and technologies designed and made in Bulgaria. Hopefully, next year there will be many more companies and the Bulgarian pavilion will double its area, he said.

With 200 exhibitors, 400 seminars and masterclasses covering all aspects of eHealth and digitization, and the opportunity to network with and learn from 6,000 specialists, Vitalis is unique in Europe.
