The Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened a new office in Sofia in the presence of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov. The Chamber has been around for nine years now. "Nothing is better than having friendly neighbours who are open to joint business and trust each other," said the Prime Minister.
He hailed the Chamber's decision to open a Sofia office and said that Turkey is one of the largest investors in Bulgaria.
He also thanked the Turkish government and President Erdogan for the fast arrival of Azeri gas to Bulgaria.
He assured the attending business representatives that the government has zero tolerance for corruption and is determined to provide a good business environment.
Attending the opening event were also Innovation Minister Daniel Lorer and Turkish Ambassador in Bulgaria Aylin Sekizkok.
Petkov was invited to join an upcoming business forum in Istanbul.
